hey everyone. I know that many people don’t like asking for help because not every likes showing the world that they’re vulnerable. I’ve been thinking about making this post for awhile but I’ve been ashamed to do so. at this point, i’ve tried so much and its still not enough and i realize that if i dont ask for help, my health isnt going to wait for me to get better.
As i mentioned in my patreon post, I’ve had a chronic illness that has had a huge impact in my life since late 2014. My health has been getting worse with each passing day and i have not been getting proper medication or medical attention due to not having an stable income and not great health insurance. I desperately need medical attention from my specialist/primary doctors but I have bills from them that have been piling up. I have made posts about my digital art commissions on my art blogand have been thinking about making a post for selling physical art, but I have not made much money off of those. its just not enough.
If you can, can you please consider donating to my paypal so I can not only pay off my medical bills but also regularly see my doctors and buy my medication ($2000+ and $200 a month for my medication and thats with my insurance)

I really, really didnt want make a post like this. i dont really like talking about my health to my friends, as my family themselves dont even believe i have health issues even tho i have been hospitalized and they have been told by my specialist that this isnt something that is just in my head. i feel like theres such a huge stigma against physically and mentally ill people and i too have felt some internalized denial/hatred for myself because of it. If you have a friend who is very much sick or disabled , physically or mentally, please dont put them down. listen to them. stand up for them. you have no idea how much your support means to them.
